It is my great pleasure to introduce you to my latest commission, entitled Little Explorer. This was certainly the most unique request for a photo-realistic wildlife piece that I have ever taken on. The combination of an enormous baby elephant and a teensy-tiny sunbird certainly presents a challenge... In all honesty, I was skeptical about pulling it off without the sunbird ending up a mere speck on the page!
Thankfully, with some perspective (literally and figuratively!) and a loooot of tea, it all came together in the end! Little Explorer made it all the way to the UK to his forever home.
